CASCO – Mariea Whitney, 45, was jailed Friday after stabbing her boyfriend in the belly, police said.

Her boyfriend, a 42-year-old man from Windham, was taken to Bridgton Hospital after the Cumberland County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the home at 9 Rosewood Road.

He was later taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Whitney was charged with aggravated domestic violence.

She was being held at the Cumberland County Jail in Portland on $15,000 cash bail.
