AUBURN – Announcement is made of the engagement of Susan DeFranzo and Derek Wyse, both of Hampton, N.H.

The future bride is the daughter of William G. DeFranzo of Hampton, N.H., and Sheila J. Caruso of Salem, N.H. She is a 1996 graduate of Winnacunnet High School and a 2001 graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration. She also earned her master’s degree in business administration in 2006. She is employed at Snap Surveys in Portsmouth, N.H.

The future bridegroom is the son of Don Wyse of Minot and Carol Wyse-Ricker of Auburn. He is a 1993 graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn and a 1997 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is employed at SPS New England in Salisbury, Mass.

A Nov. 8 wedding is planned in South Berwick at the Red Barn at Outlook Farm.
