NORWAY – The Norway Parks and Recreation Department has announced the dedication of the baseball field at the Lovejoy Farm Sports Complex at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 29. All are invited.

The field has been named the Don Butters field. Butters was the key to the field being constructed. He donated his own time and machinery and was instrumental in getting others to help with theirs.

There will be a 15-minute dedication prior to the game. Butters’ wife, Brenda, and daughter, Danielle, will throw out the first pitch. Stephanie Michaud will sing the National Anthem.

The Little League game with the Norway Vikings vs South Paris Reds will get under way at 6 p.m.

To get to the complex, take Grove Street to the end, take a right and follow the gravel road.
