A handbell concert by the Auburn Methodist Ringers and the handbell quartet will be held at the United Methodist Church of Auburn, 439 Park Ave., on Friday, May 23, at 7 p.m. Admission to the concert is by donation and will feature a variety of sacred and secular music including a medley from the musical “Mary Poppins.” Joining the handbell choir on the program are William Buzza on alto saxophone and Melissa Buzza on flute. The Auburn Methodist Ringers are conducted by William Buzza, and have performed throughout the Lewiston-Auburn area and across New England for the past 15 years. The two ensembles recently released their first CD, “Ring We Now of Christmas.”
