FARMINGTON – The Senior College at the University of Farmington will host a summer open house from 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, at the UMF Student Center, 111 South St. The annual business meeting will take place from 4 to 5 p.m.

Anyone age 50 and older who is interested in lifelong learning is invited.

Courses and activities for the summer term will include:

Tai Chi 24 Form, classes 1 and 2; Journal Writing; The Nitty-Gritty of Health Care; Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens field trip; Yoga for Your Eyes; book discussion on “Einstein: His Life and Universe.”

Also, Editing and Sharing Your Digital Photos: Basics for Beginners; Computer File Sharing; Daylily Extravaganza; Maine Books and Places: Meet the Authors of “A Place on Water.”

Also, theater matinee of “All Shook Up”; Scatterseed Project, Saving and Growing Out Seeds to Preserve Genetic Diversity; working with pressed plants; and UMF archaeological dig.
