On June 10 I will vote for Mark Belanger and Jeremy Vashaw for selectmen. My decisions are based on a need to improve leadership, in the form of strategic intelligence, and an infusion of youthful energy to improve the local stature in the region.

I’m hopeful that voters will reject Greg Buccina, with an understanding that he has failed to lead as chairman of the board of selectmen. He has supported wasteful spending, delayed regionalizing of services, has rebuffed strategic planning and has mismanaged “incidents.”

By contrast, Belanger has led efforts to reduce wasteful spending, supports regionalizing services, and actively promotes economic development. He leads with astute listening skills and consistency.

Jeremy Vashaw is a mature, action-oriented resident who offers strategic insight, a strong work ethic, and a flair for teamwork.

Leaders must lead. Mark Belanger and Jeremy Vashaw will support the necessary actions to improve our community.
