I may be a senior citizen now, but I remember playing musical chairs as a young girl, and vying to find a vacant seat before someone else did. It reminds me of the current election. I’m going to play the game again.

I refer to filling the open seats in the Maine Legislature, simply by seating a Peggy in one branch, and another Peggy in the other.

Peggy Rotundo has to vacate her Senate seat, as does Margaret (Peggy) Craven her House seat, both due to term limits.

Both have served their constituents with distinction and honor. I say that from personal experience, as they have helped me on many instances. When unexpected difficulties arose, they were there for me. I know they have done the same for many others. They are getting my vote, and I urge others to support them as well.
