GREENE – A benefit supper for Janice and Bernard Brewer of Greene will be held Saturday, June 7, at the Androscoggin Grange Hall, 99 Main St. On the menu will be baked beans, hot dogs, American chop suey, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, Italian bread, pickles, coffee, punch and dessert for $6 a person.

Janice has recently been diagnosed with cancer and has started treatments. She has helped many people and has appeared in the annual Grange Variety Show. This year she has decided to let her twin sister, Glenice Bubier, be the comedian in the show.

There will be raffle tickets available for a $100 gas card donated by family members, a quilt made by Karen Flagg, a saucepan donated by Cindy Morin and two large one-topping pizzas donated by Denise Whitmore. Karen Flagg will take orders for cutlery. There will also be a silent auction.
