Turner Legion post installs officers
TURNER – The Turner Memorial Post 111, American Legion, has installed officers for the year. The post was revitalized in 2007 by Robert Morrill of Yarmouth, Gard Enman of Lewiston and Paul Bernard of Turner.
Under the leadership of Warren K. Clark, the post has formed the Sons of the American Legion, the American Legion Riders and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 111.
Clark presented certificates of appreciation to Dennis Richardson, who was instrumental in signing 30 members into the Sons of the American Legion; to Mary Richardson, who signed 30 members into the auxiliary; and to Bernard for his dedication and support of the American Legion family.
Incoming Commander Bernard thanked Past State Commander and Judge Advocate Gard Enman, Past State Commander Donald Simoneau and State Commander Paul L’Heureux for their support and encouragement throughout the revitalization process.
