Church supper
SUMNER – The Congregational Church of East Sumner, UCC, will have a public potluck supper at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 7, in honor of the men of the community. Bring a dish to share or make a $5 donation to the Pilgrim Lodge Youth Scholarship.

Club plans trip
NEW GLOUCESTER – The Twin Town Nature Club will meet at 10 a.m. Monday, June 2, in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Oxford and carpool to Pineland Farms, New Gloucester, to visit the garden. Visitors are welcome. Bring a picnic lunch. For information, call John Crumpton at 539-2902.
Blood drive set
NORWAY – The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 6, at Stephens Memorial Hospital’s Harper Conference Center, Ripley Medical Building. Refreshments will be served. Call 743-1562, ext. 432, to make an appointment.
All blood collected will be kept at the hospital or sent to other local hospitals for use.
All donors will be put into a drawing for a chance to win two tickets to a Red Sox home game.
Karaoke night
NORWAY – There will be karaoke from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at the American Legion Post 82. Entertainment will be provided by professional DJs, the Old Crows. Food will be available. Cost is $6 a person. Proceeds will benefit American Legion Post 82.
