Oxford County Commissioner Dave Duguay, center, was the speaker for the Mountain Valley High School National Honor Society induction recently in Rumford. Duguay presented an achievement certificate from the Oxford County Commission to Stephanie Beadle, right, outgoing state president. He also presented a certificate for outstanding achievement to teacher Dorothy Peters, left, for her work with the local and the state NHS chapters. Peters is adviser to the local chapter and chairs the state on behalf of the Maine Principal’s Association. Duguay was presented an honorary membership in the local chapter for his service to community.
