Boys: Dustin Haupt, Edward Little

EL coach Ryan LaRoche says that the Red Eddies have won more than 100 regular-season meets by “always finding a diamond in the rough.” Haupt meets that criteria this year. An emerging senior on a team without many, Haupt swept the 100 and 200 meters and ran the anchor leg of the victorious 4×100 relay in the Red Eddies’ win last week over rival Lewiston, among other KVAC squads.

Girls: Brittany Bell, Poland

The Knights won a dozen events in their meet at Gray-New Gloucester, and Bell was responsible for four of them by herself. Bell, who scored 18 of Poland’s 24 team points at the Class B indoor meet three months ago, put up 32 for the Knights by sweeping the 100, 200 and 400 meters and the long jump.
