Guild picnic

WELCHVILLE – The Western Maine Knitting Guild will hold its annual picnic at the home of Eleanor Heidrich, on Tuesday, June 3. Members should bring picnic food and beverages. For more information, call Gloria Sawyer at 743-7677.

Annual breakfasts

WATERFORD – Dates for the Wilkins Community House breakfasts have been announced. The Community House, located behind the Village Green on Plummer Hill Road, will offer its 55th year of summer breakfasts starting on Friday, July 4.

The menu will include scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage links, homemade muffins, doughnuts, orange juice and coffee. The cost is $6, $3 for ages 5 to 10 and children under 5 will eat free. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 10 a.m.

Breakfast will also be served on Wednesdays, July 16 and 30 and Aug. 13.

The Community House is an nonprofit organization that oversees the upkeep of the Wilkins House, which is available for private and community events.
