PLYMOUTH, Vt. (AP) – Vermont State Police say a 43-year-old man from the town of Baltimore is dead following a logging accident Wednesday.

Robert Thomas was working near the Echo Lake State Park in Plymouth, clearing trees off of a slope when a tree fell on him.

Police say the incident was an accident. An autopsy was to be done by the Office of Chief Medical Examiner.
