LITCHFIELD – Maureen McLellan of Litchfield and Michael McLellan of Cambridge, Mass., are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Erik Michael McLellan, to Jessica Kilia Brooke Guard, daughter of John and Susan Guard and mother of Trenton Steele, all of Kula, Hawaii. Mr. McLellan is also the grandson of Jack Crosskill and the late Jean Crosskill of Lisbon Falls.

The future bride is a 1996 graduate of Seabury Hall in Makawao, Hawaii, studied architecture at NYU and graduated in 2005 from the Art Institute of Seattle, Wash., with a degree in interior design. She currently owns her own interior design firm “Design Savvy Maui,” specializing in both commercial and residential design.

The future bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Oak Hill High School in Wales and attended Babson College in Wellesley, Mass., where he graduated magna cum laude in 2000 with a degree in entrepreneurship and information systems. He is the general manager of Skyline Eco-Adventures, the first zipline tour in the United States, located in Maui, with plans for expansion outside the islands.

A wedding ceremony will be held Aug. 30 in Kula, Hawaii, where the couple and Trent will continue to reside.
