AUBURN – The Department of Public Works will hold its annual open house from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Public Works Building on Gracelawn Road.

Anyone who has ever wanted to get see an excavator up close, learn more about what it takes to maintain over 450 lane miles of road or wants to learn more about the recycling program will have a prime opportunity. There will be educational displays, demonstrations, children’s activities, door prizes and refreshments.
