This is in response to “Computers hacked to send threats,” (March 16) about how Chinese, Russian and Sudanese hackers hacked Framingham State College’s e-mail system.
Why should these hackers feel they have the right to invade someone’s privacy and do whatever they want with it? We really need to find the hackers and stop them before it gets any worse than it already is.
Hacking into someone’s e-mail and sending out messages could ruin someone’s reputation and maybe even life. It ruins the way we look at others, and it also ruined the feeling of safety that this person once had. It ruins how much trust this person can give to anyone; it ruins how they view the world.
The only way hacking would be OK is if it were for a governmental or official reason, such as checking if someone has been doing pornography and other unacceptable things. It is not OK for anyone to just hack into someone else’s computer just for their own pleasure. This is just disrespectful and shouldn’t be tolerated.
The government needs to track down those hackers. It shouldn’t matter where they are.
What they did was wrong, and they need to face up to the consequences of their actions.
I know if it were to happen to me, I would want whoever did it to be punished.
If we don’t take charge now, then we will just be pushed around our whole lives.
We need to give a shove and push back.
