SAD 43 was once again recognized for Outstanding Leadership in Nutrition Services. The recognition awards program is sponsored by the Maine Department of Education, Maine Department of Health and Human Services, Governor’s Children’s Cabinet and Governor’s Council on Physical Activity. Attending the ceremony were Sen. Bruce Bryant; Superintendent of Schools James D. Hodgkin; Jeanne LaPointe, food services director; Karen Madero, food service worker, Rumford Elementary School; Cynthia Bernard, food service production manager, Mountain Valley High School; and other food service staff from SAD 43. During the ceremony Bryant presented the district with a Legislative Sentiment of recognition.
