RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Norman R. Theriault was celebrated Friday, June 6, at St. Athanasius and St. John Catholic Church. The Rev. Angelo LeVasseur was celebrant. George Gionet was altar server and Mark Belanger was organist. Music selections were “Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling,” “On Eagles Wings,” “J’ai Re La Voir un Jour,” and “Ave Maria,” which was sung by Cindy Libby. Readings were done by Arita Zitoli. The eulogy was given by his daughter, Claire Hunt.

Pallbearers were Justin Theriault, Bill Harwood, Dan Theriault, Matt Theriault, Dane Curato, and Kirk Thurston. Interment was in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed in the parish hall. Services were under the care of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
