LIVERMORE FALLS – SAD 36 voters approved a $9.26 million budget for fiscal 2009 Tuesday, 431-145.

Livermore Falls voters approved the budget by a 234-65 margin and Livermore residents voted 197-80.

The spending plan represents a $196,513 increase over this year’s $9.06 million budget.

The tax rate to cover the education budget is expected to decrease about 49 cents per $1,000 of valuation.
