Flag ceremony

RUMFORD – Rumford Lodge of Elks 862 will honor the American Flag at a special service at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at Veterans Park at the end of Congress Street. If weather is wet, it will be held at the lodge, 60 River St.

Special guest speaker will be State Rep. Sheryl Briggs and Christine Briggs, reading her state winning Americanism essay. All are invited.

A brunch will be served after at the lodge. For more information, contact the lodge at 364-4022.

Class luncheon

RUMFORD – The Stephens High School Class of 1954 will hold a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, at the Route 2 Diner, Rumford Center.
