PORTLAND – The Maine Association of Nonprofits is offering a seminar on human resources, “Trainings Mandated by the State of Maine – Here’s Your Opportunity to Comply,” on June 25, from 9 a.m.-noon. Presenter is Deb Whitworth.

Maine employers are required to provide employees with prevention of sexual harassment training within 30 days of hire and to conduct an annual manager/supervisor interactive training on the prevention of sexual harassment for all new managers. Maine organizations with more than three employees using a computer terminal must receive video display terminal training. This SkillBuilder seminar offers the methods for conducting the mandatory trainings. The program will be conducted via Webinar as two, 70-minute sessions, with 15 minutes at the end of each for questions and a 10-minute break between them. Participants need a computer with Web access and a phone line. Registration is required. Cost for members is $35; nonmembers, $70.
