Dear Sun Spots: Would you happen to know of any physicians that would do home visits? I have agoraphobia, I am obese, I am a diabetic and need prescription refills. I live in the Norway area and have had no luck with finding one who can and is willing to write prescriptions.

I have a home health nurse who comes twice per month and has in the past drawn blood, brought it to the hospital for testing, and is able to do all that stuff. But, is unable to write up prescriptions and I desperately need prescription refills. Also, are there any eye doctors who would be willing to do the same with a home visit, eye check up and eye dilation and write up/fill prescriptions of new eyeglasses. I need your help. – No Name, Norway.

Answer: Try contacting Dr. Gilliam Johnston at Doctor in the House for a physician home visit. We did not speak with Dr. Johnston, but his offices are located in Augusta, and you may be able to arrange a visit with him. The phone number is (207) 465-9004.

Unfortunately, you most likely will not be able to receive a full eye exam in your home. According to a spokesperson from Riverside Eye Center at 193 Main St., Ripley Medical Building in Norway, there is too much equipment that can not be transported. You should see an eye doctor so he/she can check for any and all issues, especially if you are diabetic. Contact them at (207) 743-0027.

Dear Sun Spots: Would anyone have a pattern to crochet an outfit for an 8-inch Kewpie doll, or a copy of it. Thanks. – A. Girardin, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: In today’s paper, someone was inquiring about Cinch. I also loved the product and was disappointed when I could not find the product anymore. As I was looking for a window cleaner at Hannaford on Sabattus Street I noticed that they were carrying the Cinch product once again. – Mariette, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: Are there any veterinarians who do house calls in the Lewiston/Auburn area? My cats hate going to the vet, so I thought they might be a little more relaxed if they were in their own environment. Thanks! – S.S., No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: The Lewiston School Nutrition Program will offer a free summer Food Service Program for children. Breakfast and lunch will be served weekdays starting June 23 through Aug. 15 at Kennedy Park, Potvin Park, Hillview Apartments, Multi-Purpose Center Summer Play Days, River Valley (Tall Pines), and Camp Smiles. All meals must be eaten at the site, as participants are not allowed to remove food from the parks or playgrounds. On rainy days, the children will be served at the Multi-Purpose Center. No meals will be served on July 4. Free meals are provided to preschool children to 18 years of age. – Joanne Lagasse, Lewiston.

Dear Sun Spots: Can you tell what kind of company Time Point is? Will the lady who came and got VCR tapes call me at 786-6953. I have some more tapes and shelf (black). The number I dial keeps giving a busy tone. Thanks. – Muriel, No Town.
