NORTH BERWICK (AP) – A Maine man hopes his collection of 1,094 clocks is enough to get him into the Guinness Book of Records.

Jack Schoff of North Berwick maintains all of the clocks and even goes the extra mile to adjust each of them for daylight savings times.

He didn’t realize that he was in record territory until his 10-year-old granddaughter brought over the Guinness Book of Records. The current listed record is 921 clocks.

Schoff readily admits to a fascination bordering on obsession. He tells WCSH-TV that it takes about three weeks to switch all of the clocks to daylight savings time.
