MEXICO – Summer reading at the Mexico Public Library isn’t just for kids this summer. It’s for adult patrons, too. Here’s how the program will work:
Beginning the week of June 23 and continuing through the week of Aug. 11, for every book that an adult ages 16 and over) reads and finishes, they will be eligible to enter a weekly drawing for a gift.
Fill out a ticket at the library’s circulation desk, with name, phone number and book title. Then wait for a phone call notifying the winner of the weekly prize. The drawings will be done on Friday afternoons for the eight weeks of the program.
These prizes are being offered: week one, tote bag; two, tea mug; three, water bottle; four, novelty apron; five, travel mug; six, silver key chain; seven, coffee mug; and eight, tote bag.
