LEWISTON – Rowe Lewiston wrapped up the regular season championship in Elliot Ave. Little League Major Division baseball with a 12-4 victory over Melanson Paving and a 19-1 rout of Mike Morin Auto. Rowe rolled to an 11-4 record by winning 10 of its last 11 games.

Kyle Lemelin and Coleman Morency shared the pitching duties against Melanson. Repeat hitters included Lemelin, Morency, Owen McCarthy, Evan Bourassa and Ethan Melvin. Alex Small and Austin Wing each belted a double for Rowe.

Bourassa hit for the cycle and pitched a two-hitter against Morin.

Melvin joined Bourassa with a home run. Morency and Ty Murphy contributed three hits apiece, while McCarthy and Melvin each had two.

Bryan Bonenfant banged out both hits for Mike Morin.

ASLL softball

AUBURN – Kory Norcross went 4-for-4 with a home run, two doubles and a single, sparking Gee & Bee to a wild 18-17 victory over Crystal Springs in Auburn Suburban Little League softball.

Makayla Norcross and Megan Freitas each went 3-for-3 to boost Gee & Bee. Ashlee Arnold added two hits.

Kailey Norcross, Peterson, Johnson, Hammond, Stubbs and Albert each chipped in a base hit. Tianna Harriman was the winning pitcher.

Brittany Williams provided the pitching for Crystal. Amanda Williams homered twice to help her team’s cause. She also smacked a double and a single.

Brittany Williams delivered three hits. Kylie Martin clouted a double and single, and Hannah Delong tacked on a two-bagger.

The next day, Gee & Bee kept up the pace at the plate with a 12-2 triumph over Lewiston PAL.

Kory Norcross struck out eight to earn the pitching victory. She also led the attack with three hits. Arnold and Katherine Peterson poked two hits apiece. Makayla Norcross and Emily Albert each added a hit.

Cleo Miller connected for Lewiston’s lone hit.

ASLL baseball

AUBURN – Mason Bosse, Brian Crane, Zach Hurd, Steve Sinclair and Owen Voisine put on the hitting shoes for HRH in a 10-8 victory over Auburn Firefighters.

Voisine backed up his effort at the plate with strong defense. Evan Raymond started on the mound for HRH and held Firefighters in check.

Brooks Layman doubled and scored three times for AFF. He also performed admirably on the hill.

Cam Cormier was a repeat hitter, including an inside-the-park home run.

Nick Mitri, Tyler Lafean and Noah Perron also chipped in with hits. Lafean and Cormier were defensive stalwarts.
