Shame on the Sun Journal. Nowhere, on June 6, did I see any mention of it being the anniversary of D-Day. More than 100,000 Allied troops were killed in that action.

If the Axis powers had won World War II, it could well be that people here would not have freedom of the press, radio, television and the Internet. Jews, gypsies, gays and handicapped would either be in concentration camps or dead. Children would be indoctrinated in hate and informing authorities of their parents’ actions.

The Sun Journal ignored, and thus dishonored, the day and the many people involved.

This would not be the comfortable world most people know today.
