Unless otherwise noted, the following are to be arraigned on Aug. 5 in Rumford District Court:

• Marianela M. Mayorga, 32, Rumford, disorderly conduct, criminal threatening and criminal mischief, 6:40 p.m. June 21 on Congress Street. She was released on $1,200 unsecured bail.

• John Halacy, 34, Milton Township, operating under the influence (second offense), 2:18 a.m. June 21. He was released on $1,500 unsecured bail and will be arraigned on Sept. 2 in Rumford District Court.

• Chad Warren, 23, Rumford, warrant charging unpaid fines, 9:28 p.m. June 19 on Cumberland Street. He was released on $250 cash bail. An arraignment date has yet to be set.

• Nicholas R. Varnum, 18, Rumford, warrant charging failure to appear for arraignment on a charge of assault, turned himself in at the police station about 1:30 p.m. He was released on $300 cash bail. An arraignment date has yet to be set.

Accidents

• June 21, 2 a.m. – A 2008 Toyota car driven by Nikolaos Kazakos, 36, of 4 Campbell St., Boothbay Harbor, veered off Route 232 in fog and struck a tree head-on. Kazakos wasn’t injured but his passenger, Jennifer Packard, 30, of Dixfield, suffered an arm injury and was taken by Med-Care Ambulance to Rumford Hospital where she was treated and released, according to Rumford police Sgt. David Bean.

Kazakos was arrested and charged with operating after suspension and possession of a suspended license, booked at the Rumford police holding facility, and released on $500 unsecured bail. He will be arraigned on Sept. 2 in Rumford District Court.

The car, which is owned by Takis Kazakos, 72, of 4 Campbell St., Boothbay Harbor, sustained an estimated $5,000 in damage.
