AUBURN – Adam Redman fired a four-hitter and fanned eight batters to lead New Auburn to a 7-4 victory over Brunswick in American Legion baseball on Thursday.

Trailing 4-0, NAL (2-1) rallied for four runs in the third to tie the game, and Corey LaRue belted a solo home run in the fifth inning for the game-winning run. After a rough start, Redman shut down Brunswick over the final four innings.

LaRue had a pair of hits for New Auburn. Kevin Wilson had two hits for Brunswick, while Frank Awgelico hit a double.

Cole Farms 7, Smith-Tobey 2

GRAY – Zac Cantor had three hits, including a two-run homer in the sixth, to lead Cole Farms to a 7-2 victory over Smith-Tobey of Bath.

Nick Derice also had three hits, while Joe Sundquist and Joe Billings had two hits each. Lucas Chase went the distance, scattering four hits and striking out seven for Cole Farms (1-3). Mike Ollen had two hits for Smith-Tobey.

No. Oxford County 5, Gayton 0

LEWISTON – Jon Smith fired a three-hit shutout to lead unbeaten Northern Oxford County to a 5-0 victory over Gayton.

Smith didn’t strike out a single batter, but kept Gayton’s hitters off balance. Smith and Ryan Laubauskas led the offense with two hits apiece for Northern Oxford (3-0).

Kyle Neagle was the losing pitcher for Gayton (1-1).

Swasey-Torrey Post 6, Gilman Electrical 0

POLAND – Arik Fenstermacher belted a three-run double in the first inning as Swasey-Torrey Post (1-2) glided away with a 6-0 victory over Gilman Electrical (3-1) in a Legion game Thursday night.

Swasey’s pitcher James Moulton went the distance and got the win on the mound, while teammates Tyler Gates and Aaron Fenstermacher each had two hits.
