LEWISTON – Richard and Aline Mailhot of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Mailhot of San Antonio, Texas, to Adan Machuca of San Antonio, Texas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Guadalupe B. Machuca of Midland, Texas.

Miss Mailhot is a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and received a bachelor’s degree in social work from Wheelock College in Boston and a master’s degree in social work from Boston University. She is currently employed as a program manager for Texas-MENTOR, a foster care agency in San Antonio, Texas. She moved to San Antonio, Texas, from Boston in March 2008 to be with her fiancé. She met her fiancé in April of 2007 and he proposed on March 8, 2008.

Mr. Machuca received a bachelor’s degree in math from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. He is currently employed as a program technical manager for General Dynamics in San Antonio, Texas.

A July 4 wedding will be held at 7 p.m. at Bethesda Terrace, Central Park, New York City, N.Y.
