AUBURN – A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Normand L. Bilodeau was celebrated Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church after prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Frank Murray celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Lewiston. During Mass religious symbols were placed on Normand’s casket by his grandchildren, Trevor and Alyssa Vallee. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Maurice and Romance Gagne. After committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery, the U.S. Army Honor Detail played “taps” and presented our country’s flag to Normand’s daughter, Joline Vallee in recognition of her father’s service to his country during the Korean Conflict. Then all were invited to a reception of fellowship at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston. Arrangements by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
