PARIS – The 30th annual Founder’s Day will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 19, on the Green on Paris Hill.

Featuring a one-day public viewing of a private automobile collection, there will also be antique appraisals, live music, food, horse and wagon rides around Paris Hill, face painting, and a craft fair going on throughout the day.

Scott Logan will appraise small, portable antiques from 2 to 4 p.m. Live music will be provided throughout the day: local musician Owen Davis will perform in the morning, and will join the rest of his band, Frog and Toad Are Friends, at 2 p.m.

There will be food for sale – bag lunches, homemade pies and pastries, jams, jellies, pickles, maple syrup and other treats. A local Girl Scout chapter will provide face painting.

Craft fair vendors will sell turned wood products, wood carvings, handmade jewelry, lapidary crafts, minerals, books and other homemade crafts. There will also be tote bags, T-shirts and old photo reprints sold in the Hamlin Memorial Library and Museum.

Several raffles will be offered throughout the day, including a 50/50 raffle to sponsor the library/museum, a car raffled by the Lions Club, and other items.
