POLAND – The Empire Grove United Methodist Campmeeting Association will celebrate its 174th Campmeeting on Saturday through Sunday, July 26 to Aug. 3. The theme will be “Table Grace.”

Many activities are planned for adults and children, including volleyball, softball, bean supper, bike parade, campground train rides, crafts, communion, Bible studies and Olympics.

The two Sunday services will be held at 11 a.m. There will be services each night at 7 p.m. preceded by a 6:30 songfest led by Mitchell Thomas.

The worship leader for the evening services will be the Rev. Catherine Anderson of Jefferson.

There will be an indoor yard sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 4, to benefit the campground.

The program directors are Howard and Debbie Gary; assistant directors, Thatcher and Sheila Anderson.

The Empire Grove Campmeeting is located on Empire Road, East Poland. The public is welcome. For more information, contact Howard Gary, camp manager, at 998-3676.

Vespers services will continue in the chapel each Sunday at 7 p.m. through Sept. 7.
