LEWISTON – L&A Veterans Council Chairman Paul R. Bernard and retired Navy Command Master Chief Roger Dumont announced a reunion of volunteers who worked during the Vietnam Memorial Wall replication visit. It will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, at Veterans Memorial Park.

Volunteers interested in the organizational and planning stages for the event will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, the Fortin Funeral Home, Center Street, Auburn.

Last September volunteers began working when the 133rd Engineers delivered and assembled the wall base. Some of the volunteers spent hours daily from the beginning to the end 10 days later.
