Nutrition event

LEWISTON – The St. Mary’s Nutrition Center of Maine will hold a “People and Plants: Art and Culture” event from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 21, at the center, 208 Bates St.

Everyone is invited to bring a dish using vegetables that are important to them. The dish will be shared with others in the community as part of a “food tasting.” All are asked to bring a favorite veggie and become what they eat by creating a mask out of their food. The vegetables could be part of a cultural heritage, family tradition or just a vegetable that a person likes. For details, contact Bridgette at Lots to Gardens, 513-3844.

Class reunion

LEWISTON – The Lewiston High School Class of 1983 will hold its 25-year reunion at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29. at the Hilton Garden Inn.
