Between Friday, July 11, at 7 a.m. and Thursday, July 17, at 7 a.m., this department has responded to 820 calls for service. Of those calls, 193 of them were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal Mischief

A vehicle parked in the parking garage at 1 Oak St. was keyed on July 11 around 9 a.m.

A pedestrian near College Street and Campus Avenue had paintballs fired at him on July 13 at 9:39 p.m.; the suspects were in a tan Jeep.

A vehicle was struck by a paintball at Montello Sreet and East Avenue on July 11 at 10:17 a.m. The suspects were in a red vehicle which fled the scene.

Officers responded to 91 Warren Ave. on July 13 at 2:47 a.m. for a report of a shot fired. Upon arrival, they discovered that someone had exploded a soda bottle bomb inside of a parked vehicle.

A vehicle parked in front of 1 Highland Ave. had both passenger side doors slashed overnight July 10-11.

A vehicle parked at 207 Webber Ave. was keyed overnight July 10-11.

A vehicle parked at 1 Knox St. was keyed overnight July 10-11.

A vehicle parked at 64 Oxford St. had a rear view mirror broken off from it overnight July 10-11.

A vehicle parked at 12 Michaud Ave. was paint-balled between 11 p.m. on July 13 and 9 a.m. on July 14.

A building at 2 Cedar St. was tagged with graffiti sometime prior to July 16.

A vehicle parked at 111 Ash St. had four tires slashed overnight July 14-15.

Four vehicles were shot by paintballs sometime during the evening hours on July 12.

A garage at 18 Locust St. was tagged with graffiti overnight July 15-16.

A vehicle parked at 19 Thorne Ave. was spraypainted sometime overnight July 16-17.

Thefts

Two potted plants were stolen from a porch at 5 Windsor Place overnight July 10-11.

A silver Mongoose 21 speed bicycle was stolen from the front porch of 97 Birch St. on July 13 prior to 6 p.m.

A silver Next BMX bicycle was stolen from 59 Maple St. on July 13 at 3 p.m.

A blue BMX Mongoose bicycle with rear pegs was stolen the Gazebo on July 11 at 8 p.m.

A maroon and gold Rave bicycle was stolen from 363 Pleasant St. sometime between midnight July 13 and 8 a.m. on July 14.

A vehicle parked in the driveway of 343 Old Greene Road had gas siphoned out its tank overnight July 16-17.

A gold BMX bicycle was stolen from Davinci’s between 5 and 10:30 p.m. on July 15.

Two plastic lawn geese were stolen from 11 Mountview Terrace sometime within the past two weeks.

MV Burglaries

A customer of Del’s had her vehicle burglarized on July 12 prior to 4 a.m.; a cell phone, money and prescription pills were taken.

A vehicle parked at 10 Belleview Ave. was burglarized overnight July 13-14; money and an ATM card were stolen.

A vehicle parked at 35 Wood St. had a digital camera stolen from inside of it sometime in the past several days.

A vehicle parked at 33 Prescott St. was ransacked overnight July 16-17.

A vehicle parked at 32 Bardwell St. was burglarized overnight July 16-17; change was taken from inside.

A vehicle parked at 101 Bardwell St. was burglarized overnight July 16-17. No property was taken from inside.

Burglaries

A tenant of 142 College St. reports that sometime between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. on July 13 someone pushed in a window screen and stole a 40 oz. Natural Lite from the fridge.

On July 13 at 1 p.m. two suspicious males were found in the process of trying to burglarize 177 Pond Road. The new buyer found them in the process of breaking open the lockbox, but they had not yet gone inside. She described them as a 40-year-male with sandy hair and a moustache and pot belly, as well as a 16-year-male. They were in a grey Chevy Caprice.

A residence at 12 Jan’s Blvd. was burglarized overnight July 13-14, the suspect broke two windows and stole a drawer which contained cash.

The cellar of 100 Lincoln St. was burglarized overnight July 11-12; a box of antique Christmas decorations were stolen.

An apartment at 407 College St. was burglarized overnight July 14-15; money was stolen from a purse.

A residence at 400 College St. had a screen door damaged during an attempted burglary that occurred overnight Julyu 14-15; no entry was gained.

The Mobil XPress at 747 Main St. was burglarized overnight July 14-15. A flat screen TV and a computer were taken from inside.

That’s a Wrap at 30 Lowell St. was burglarized sometime prior to 5 p.m. on July 15; a computer and golf clubs were taken from inside.

A residence at 402 College St. was burglarized between 11:30 p.m. on July 14 and 7 a.m. on July 15; cash was taken from a purse.

A residence at 24 Franklin St. had all of its screens removed during an attempted burglary that occurred overnight July 15-16.

A residence at 15 Franklin St. was burglarized overnight July 15-16; entry was gained through an unlocked window, and money taken from a wallet.

A residence at 365 College St. was burglarized overnight July 15-16, money was taken from a wallet and some food was taken.

Terrorizing Arrest

Tobias Macdonald, 27, was charged with terrorizing and violation of bail codntions on July 14 at 9:09 p.m. at 1 Stewart St. Officers responded after MacDonald threatened to shoot someone and any officers that tried to stop him. Officers negotiated with him for more than an hour before he turned himself over to police custody.
