MEXICO – At 12-1, Irving Forest Products is leading the River Valley Slow Pitch Softball League. Right on their heels are State Farm/Hotel at 10-2, followed by Tommy Guns at 7-6, Abbie’s Avengers at 4-7, Ellis Pond Variety at 2-9 and WS Crew at 2-11.

The league plays a 20-game schedule, with a double-elimination playoff through the week of Aug. 25. Games are played weekdays at 5:30 p.m. in the Mexico Recreation Park.
