FARMINGTON – Franklin Health Woman’s Care announces that Dr. Tara Aumand will join its practice Aug. 18.
A native of Vermont, Dr. Aumand recently completed a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. During her residency, she was a featured presenter at lecture series, addressing colposcopy, post-partum spinal headaches, management of severe preeclampsia and eclampsia, physician ethics, and more.
She received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies, in 2004. Prior to that she completed an obstetrics and gynecology internship at Robert Wood Johnson University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Franklin Health Women’s Care offers women’s health services at its offices on the first floor of the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center, next to Franklin Memorial Hospital. For more information, or to make an appointment with Dr. Aumand, call 778-6394.
