Liz Bouchard, 12, and Peter Belitsos, 11, head back to the dock as storm clouds force a weather delay during the Taylor Pond Yacht Club’s annual McGuckian Cup race in Auburn on Tuesday. Nine young sailors competed during the two-day club championship. First-place skipper Zoe Oswald and the two skippers who tied for second, Brian Watko and Jack Bayley, qualified to compete during the Northeast Sailing Association Midgets Central Regional in Boothbay on July 28. Robbie Little, in motorboat, is the sailing instructor for 19 students at the club.
