LEWISTON – Kathryn Beausang of RiverWalk Creations will discuss creative jewelry design from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 25, at L/A Arts’ Gallery 5.

Beausang’s unique beaded designs are created from vintage and contemporary beads, crystals and stones that she collects from all over the world. Many of the vintage beads are one of a kind. Working from her home studio in Greene, she finds bead boutiques and antique shops magical places full of inspiration.

“The custom jewelry created at RiverWalk is inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit found throughout Maine. I have always admired the creativity and energy exhibited by local artists and craftsmen,” she said. Her jewelry has been in many Gallery 5 juried exhibits.

A member of the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce, Greene Economic Development Committee and the Maine Women’s Network, Beausang brings a wealth of business and artistic knowledge to her discussion.
