TOPSHAM – More than 70 children in grades 2 through 9 are busy rehearsing for Midcoast Youth Theater’s production of Roald Dahl’s musical “Willy Wonka, Jr.”

Dahl’s timeless story of the eccentric confectioner and his search for an heir will be performed at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Aug. 14-15, and at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Mt. Ararat High School.

Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students/seniors and $5 for children ages 5-8. Tickets are available at the door or online at www.youth-theater.org.
