LEMPSTER, N.H. (AP) – Two New Hampshire men have been killed in an accident on Route 10 in Lempster.

State police said a northbound vehicle driven by 21-year-old Jacob Maxfield of Newport drifted off the road and crashed into a drainage culvert on the south side of the road at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Maxfield and a passenger, 26-year-old Brandon Melcher, also of Newport, were pronounced dead at the scene.
