WILTON – The Wilton Blueberry Festival was a great success this year, reports Shannon Smith, festival chairwoman. Next year’s event will be held Aug. 7 and 8 with a theme of Wilton is a great place to “Live-Work-Play.”

Parade winners are announced as follows:

Prettiest: first, Rocky Hill Landscaping; second, Franklin County Agriculture Society; third, 1956 Ford truck.

Commercial: Shelly Hometown Market; Where to Heck R-We Campground; Comfort Inn.

Americanism: Franco-American War Veterans; Greater Purpose; First Apolistic Church.

Most original: Franklin County Animal Shelter; Dutch Treat; Class of 1958.

Blueberry theme: York Family ATVs; Blueberry Mountain Bible Camp; 1940 Ford coupe.

Antique cars: 1943 M-T Hillbillies; 1931 M-A (Taylor); 1949 fire truck.

Firefighters and EMS theme: Bangor Savings; Farmington Emblem Club 460; Western Mountain Christian Academy.

Antique tractors: best single, Maine Antique Tractor Club; best group, RS Osgood & Sons.

Best color guard: Farmington American Legion; Maine EMS Color Guard.

Best youth group: Mt. Blue Recreation Cheerleaders; Decal Gymnastics.

Best walking group: Healthy Community Coalition; Pack 517.

Wheels division (bikes and four-wheelers): four-wheeler dad and son; Smith-Paris Family.
