FARMINGTON – Gracie is often in the wrong room looking for adventure at the Franklin County Animal Shelter.

Staff said she can be found lurking by the front door waiting to escape into the grass and have someone chase after her. It is all done with a touch of class, staff said.

Shelter staff reminds pet owners not to leave their animals in parked cars during the summer.

New dogs at the shelter are a tan pitbull from Livermore Falls and a tan hound shepherd mix.
