Lodge supper

RUMFORD – Blazing Star Lodge 30, AF and AM, will meet for a 6:30 p.m. supper on Wednesday, Sept. 3, followed by a 7:30 meeting. The agenda will include raising dues, going dark January, February and March, and other small bylaw changes. All members should attend.

JHS open house

JAY – The Jay Historical Society will hold its annual open house on Jay Hill from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23. There will be a large lawn sale and the Jay Fire Department will have an antique motor fire equipment display.

Grange meeting

LIVERMORE – New Norlands Grange #580 will meet at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, at the hall off Route 133 on the Airport Road.

The program will include the presentation of the Emma and Scott Jewett scholarships to Jeremy Soper from Livermore Falls High School and to Magen Birmingham from Jay High School, a President’s quiz, Rules from God, music and more.
