BOSTON (AP) – Boston police have arrested a suspect in a shooting that wounded a 4-year-old boy and his 17-year-old cousin.
Police said 19-year-old Larelle Pratt was due to be arraigned Friday on charges including assault with intent to murder and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Family members said the child and his cousin were shot while sitting on a porch in the city’s Roxbury neighborhood Monday night.
The 4-year-old was hit in the torso and the 17-year-old in the elbow. Both were treated at Boston Medical Center.
Police believe the older boy was the intended target.
