WILTON, N.H. (AP) – A New Hampshire man has been injured after he stood up on the seat of his moving Harley Davidson and then fell off.
Police say 51-year-old Carl Hannigan, of Nashua, suffered serious head and leg injuries in the accident on Saturday. He was flown to UMass Medical Center in Worcester, Mass.
Another New Hampshire man was also injured in a motorcycle accident this weekend.
Police say 68-year-old Charles Fletcher, of Jaffrey, was flown to the hospital by helicopter after he braked his 2005 BMW motorcycle, skidded and slid down a Jaffrey roadway Sunday.
Police Chief William Oswalt says Fletcher suffered a number of broken bones and possibly some internal bleeding.
Hospital officials say Fletcher is in fair condition at UMass Medical Center.
