BATH (AP) – Officials say no one was hurt when a fire broke out on the roof of a building at Bath Iron Works.
Shipyard spokesman Jim DeMartini says the fire broke out around 11 a.m. Wednesday and was quickly brought under control by the Bath Fire Department.
The fire happened on a roof of the blast and paint facility. There are filtering systems on the roof that remove particles from the air in the building below, but it’s unclear how the fire started.
