DIXFIELD – The following incident were handled by the Dixfield Police Department.

Arrests

• Corey A. Taylor, 35, of Weld Street, bench warrant, at 5:45 p.m., Aug. 10, on Weld Street. He was released from the Dixfield Police Department on an unknown amount of bail.

• David Wing, 33, of Mill Street, criminal restraint, at 9:40 a.m., Aug. 9, at Third and Mill streets.

He was released from the Dixfield Police Department on $300 unsecured bail. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 7.

• Michael W. Newman, 49, of Glen Allen, Va., assault, on Aug. 2, at Newton Avenue.

He was released from the Dixfield Police Department on $300 secured bail. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 4.

Vandalism

A town riding lawn mower was reported damaged at 8:17 a.m. Aug. 13 while parked under a canopy at Harlow Park. It is believed that the damage occurred the night before. Estimated damage was $500.

Accidents

Vehicles driven by Shelby Paine, 17, Fenderson Hill Road North, Wilton, and Erik L. Dickson, 35, Marigold Lane, Dixfield, collided at 8:10 a.m. Aug. 28 on Main Street. Paine’s 1996 Ford station wagon sustained $1,500 damage. Dickson’s 2005 Dodge Magnum four-door sustained $1,000 damage.

Vehicles driven by Jason J. Vanderveld, 30, of Second Street, Hallowell, and Thomas W. Mould, 26, of Route 9, Malta, N.Y., collided at 4:35 p.m. Aug. 22 at the intersection of Route 2 and Porter Road.

Vanderveld’s 2008 Harley-Davidson sustained between $2,000 and $3,000 damage. Mould’s 1999 Hyundai sedan sustained very minor damage.

Theft

A Weld Street resident reported at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 27 the theft of about 250 gallons of fuel oil from her tanks at her home between June 15 and Aug. 27.
