The Rumford and Mexico police departments will set up roadblocks on Labor Day weekend to check for motorists driving under the influence.
Mexico police Sgt. Roy Hodsdon said both departments will use a grant from the Bureau of Highway Safety to pay for the safety checks.
Officers will set up moving roadblocks along Route 2 from Main Street in Mexico to the area near Rowe Ford west of Rumford village.
The two departments will also use some of the grant to pay for other OUI patrols throughout the three-day weekend.
